COMET is the end product of R&D centric efforts of RECPL. COMET engines are diesel powered PRIME MOVERS – creations of REC’s in-house R&D efforts and crafted with care. We diligently endeavour to deliver the promised economy, cost efficiencies and above all ‘feel good’ product experience. Owning a real COMET engine repetitiously reaps rewards.

Our Purchase department ensures that quality components are outsourced from reliable and verified vendors only.

Production ensures optimum quality by putting efforts to maintain in-house dedicated special purpose machining line for producing critical parts such as crankcase, crankshaft, cylinder head, camshaft and connecting rods. This ensures efficient and trouble free operation of our engines.

In recognition of our ingenious design and superior commercial product, we are awarded with patent design no. 157735. We are an ISO 9001-2008 certified manufacturer. Our entire product range is compliant to BIS Standards – the bench mark of quality awarded by Bureau of Indian Standards - the apex body that serves as regulator of quality of products made in India.

The square and compact design of the engine ensures lower weight and better fuel efficiency; this in turn reduces the wear and tear, making the engine more sturdy and durable. At a dealer’s conference, one of the dealer remarked, “Rocket’s simply superb after sales service is its main strength.” The company has dedicated 4 jeeps in Maharashtra alone for customer service. 

Our OE products are well accepted both in National and International markets. The continual growing market demands spurred us to enhance our production capacity. The resultant scales of economy enabled us to contain our costs without compromising our quality.
